What we do

Founded in 1996 and wholly owned by our partners, Cartlidge Morland is a wealth management firm.

Specialising in private wealth management for individuals, we provide independent financial advice, personal wealth plans and investment strategies for growing and protecting personal wealth.

We also provide residential and commercial mortgage consultancy services, as well as employee benefit consultancy services to a wide range of private investors, trusts, partnerships, family companies, PLCs, charities and governmental organisations.

Highly experienced, Andrew is a member of the firm’s Investment Management Committee, providing advice to private clients, with a particular emphasis on portfolio management and inheritance tax planning. Having previously held Board positions in several national firms before co-founding Cartlidge Morland, Andrew is a director of Cartlidge Morland Trustees Ltd.

Charles Morland
Charles’ professional practice encompasses City professionals, solicitors, accountants, stockbrokers and chartered surveyors. Primarily focused on SIPPS and investment management, he has over 30 years’ experience. Co-founding Cartlidge Morland in 1996, Charles is a member of our Investment Management Committee and a director of Cartlidge Morland Trustees Ltd.

Julian Nurse
Julien focuses on providing a bespoke suite of wealth management services. After 23 years of business ownership in financial services, his enthusiasm for helping clients achieve their financial goals remains undimmed. Julien is a member of our Investment Committee, chairs our Alternative Investment Committee and is a director of Cartlidge Morland Trustees Ltd.

Leading both our Finance and Client Administration teams, Nicola promotes local delivery of the uncompromisingly impartial advice that has built the firm’s reputation in the City and beyond. She joined us in 2000 as Finance and Practice Manager, and – having qualified as an IFA – is ideally placed as the firms Operations Partner.

Martin Cox
A member of our Investment and Alternative Investment Committees, Martin advises a broad range of private clients on all aspects of their financial affairs. He has been an IFA since 1975, working as a director in several City-based firms. As well as private clients, Martin also works with family/private companies on all aspects of their financial planning.

Simon Fettroll
Simon works with private clients to help them develop and realise their financial aspirations. Specialising in wealth strategies, he has represented various financial institutions. A member of the Personal Finance Society, Simon has the Diploma in Financial Planning (including taxation and trusts, and advanced level in investments) and will shortly be Chartered.

Experienced in working with high net worth clients in the media and entertainment industries, Mark believes in the value of truly independent advice and the difference that such advice can make to people’s lives. Since graduating with a First Class honours degree in Business Studies, Mark is close to achieving Chartered Status.

Peter McEvoy
One of our Senior Consultants, Peter has been an IFA since 2002. He provides advice across all aspects of financial planning for private and corporate clients. Peter is a member of the Private Client team and, as well as concentrating on provision for families, he has a specific interest in advice for business partnerships.

Sarah Bowles
A Consultant who works with pre and post-retirement private clients, helping secure and manage their finances in the complex world of pension legislation. She helps charity trustees ensure they are fulfilling their obligations. A member of Personal Financial Society, Sarah has an interest in ethical investments, and appeared on the BBC as a financial expert.

Angela Cooper
Managing Director of our Investment Services team, Angela runs our Investment Management Service and Select Portfolio Service. She has over 30 years’ experience in investment research working for investment companies and some of the leading UK national IFAs. Angela graduated from the London School of Economics and is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.

Gary Allchin
A Director of our Investment Management team, Andrew plays a key role in the management of client portfolios and the development of our investment management activities. With 30 years’ experience, Andrew was an Investment Manager at Capita Trust Company before joining us, and holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Financial Planning Diploma.

Oliver is a Junior Investment Manager assisting in managing investment portfolios, undertaking investment analysis and research for investment portfolio construction.
